Morrie Beschloss, a 50 year veteran of the PVF industry, is now a feature writer for the business section of The Desert Sun, a Gannett newspaper, in Palm Springs, CA. Morrie has been very accurate in his recent forecasts of interest cuts, oil prices and many other sectors of interest to the PVF industry. Morrie has taken a very strong stand in voicing his belief that the PVF industry will not be victimized by any recession that may occur in the coming year. Although the drop in housing will definitely affect the PVF members that are involved in housing, Morrie believes the momentum in the industrial side will carry that sector of our industry through 2008. The upstream side of oil and gas is projected to be strong through 2012.
