Morrie Beschloss opened the meeting with a report regarding the combined PVF Roundtable/The Wholesaler meeting in Chicago. The meeting was attended by approximately 125 people from different areas of the country and the speakers were from major sectors of the PVF industry. Reports from those attending indicated the acceptance of the meeeting idea and presentation was excellent. Morrie advised the members that the meeting will become an annual event, held at each ASA annual meeting, and will continue to be sponsored by The Wholesaler magazine. Our keynote speaker was Kimberly Leppold of Metal Bulletin Research. Kim gave an outstanding presentation of the state of the worldwide metals market along with a thorough analysis of pipe and stainless steel. We have posted the pdf of her presentation on this site for your perusal. The PVF Roundtable extends our sincere appreciation to Kim and her firm for assisting us in getting this information to our industry. The meeting was attended by approximately 80 people to further illustrate the inteterest in The Roundtable. Several of those attending were from locations outside of Texas.
