The PVF Roundtable will hold its next General Assembly Meeting on Tuesday, 21 August 2007 at the HESS Club, 5430 Westheimer Way, Houston, TX. The social hour will begin at 4:30 PM and will afford our members and their guests the opportunity to network with each other and discuss current events in the industry. The buffet dinner, featuring a new menu, will be served at approximately 5:30 PM. The meeting will be called to order by Ron Merrick at approximately 6:30 PM. Our new members and some of the honored guests will be introduced and the business calendar of the Roundtable will be cleared prior to introduction of our Keynote Speaker.

Our featured speaker will be Bob Tippee. Bob is Editor of The Oil and Gas Journal. Bob was our keynote speaker at the mid 2006 General Assembly Meeting. During that meeting, Bob pointed out many of the shortcomings of the ethanol program. During the past year, all of the items Bob pointed out have been recognized by knowledgeable people and reported by a somewhat unwilling media.

Bob will cover the most recent developments in the ethanol program and then open the floor for an extensive question and answer session. Come prepared with your questions regarding energy developments, future alternative energy programs and the problems associated with pyramiding price increases that have been seen in the ethanol program.

We expect a record turnout for this meeting so please RSVP as quickly as possible so we can coordinate the details with The HESS Club.
